SISME is a company that designs and produces special asynchronous electric motors. Founded in 1957 and originally located in Como, Italy, it has now 3 plants in Italy, China and Slovakia. In 2004, SISME open a new plant in Tianjin, China. The new plant, where rotorstators for hermetic compressors are produced, has, as a target, to satisfy the specific needs of Customers in China and Asia. In order to offer its Customers a Product with the same high quality and reliability standards of SISME Group Europe made Products, no resources have been spared: the localization project has involved Italian and Chinese technicians in a very complex training process carried out in both countries; premium brands European made equipments have been installed; top suppliers of raw material and components have been chosen.
SISME has received many a recognition from its major customers as their Best Supplier of Electric Motors. Among the most important, the Biennal Award received by Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte in 1992/93, 1994/95, 1996/97, 1998/99, 2000/01 and 2007/08; the Best Electric Material Supplier Awards received by Carrier and by Danfoss Maneurop.
